Randy Stoklos, professional volleyball player and resident of Castellemmare Hill in the Palisades, used a bucket and his own jacuzzi water to put out fires on neighbor's homes.

He also stayed through the fire, and walked from home to home in the neighborhood using garden hoses to put out fires.

Thank you, Randy, for your extreme bravery!

Patrick Hildebrand Sr., the owner of The Amazing Music Store destroyed by the Palisades fire of January 2025, and Larry Goldberg, a lifetime friend and one of the first employees at The Music Bag -circa 1980, picked each other up out of the ashes and re-lived what they did 40 years ago.
