Patrick Hildebrand Sr. (Owner) The Amazing Music Store - Pacific Palisades. A father, grandfather, uncle, friend, teacher, business owner, and a renowned resident of the Palisades. "Uncle Pat" has served his community for over 50 years and lost it all due to the Palisades Fire. While he is going to continue teaching lessons via Zoom temporarily, they would love to raise funds to eventually rebuild the historical and legendary business. His passion since his early 20's.
For over 40 years, Gerry Blanck’s Martial Arts Center has been a cornerstone of the Pacific Palisades community, teaching Yoshukai karate, kickboxing, and self-defense to generations of students. This dojo was more than a martial arts studio—it was a haven for building confidence, discipline, and camaraderie. Gerry’s dedication to his students earned him a beloved place in the hearts of families, including high-profile supporters.
Tragically, the devastating fire that swept through the area destroyed the dojo, leaving Gerry and his students without a home. This dojo was not just a place of learning but a symbol of resilience and strength for the Palisades community.
My name is Alisa Ruby Bash. My family and I, like a lot of people in our area, lost our homes and all of our possessions in the fire in Pacific Palisades. It’s been incredibly hard, but we will be OK. Hopefully, our insurance comes through like they sounded like they would. However, not everyone is as lucky. This GoFundMe is for my best friend, Patrick Hildebrand Jr.
He sacrificed his own safety, put himself in harm's way, and was a true hero in this fire for not only myself but many others that needed help in the Pacific Palisades fire. He took matters into his own hands when no firetrucks came to our neighborhood during this fire. He stood there with a hose, trying to save my home and my belongings as long as he could, until his shoes melted from the flames. He helped to save my cat, and broke a window to get a few essentials for us as the flames engulfed my home.
Please consider supporting Romy Binder Harding and her mom Judith Binder. They both lost their home and everything they own in the Palisades Fire.
Romy is one of our lifelong best friends. Those of you who grew up with us in the Palisades will remember us as being inseparable. We want to do everything we can to get sweet Romy and her beautiful mom back on their feet.
Any amount you can donate will help Romy and Judith with the expenses they are faced with after this tragedy--from finding a temporary home, to buying clothing to expenses for everyday living. There is no amount too small and every penny will be greatly appreciated! ❤️
American Legion Ronald Reagan Palisades Post 283 is accepting donations for those affected by the Palisades Fire. Most of our members living in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood lost their homes and everything they own. Veterans, their families, and Pacific Palisades community members unite in practicing service over self, championing the ideals of patriotism, community engagement, and honor.
